* Balochistan CM says government will invite Prince Karim Aga Khan to visit Balochistan soon

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Nawab Aslam Raisani on Tuesday expressed concern over target killing of teachers in the province.

Talking to a delegation of Mastung elders at the CM's Secretariat, he regretted that "some elements were involved in target killing of teachers in Balochistan".

The CM said the provincial government was in touch with the Aga Khan Foundation for the establishment of a maritime university and a hospital in the province. He said the government would invite Prince Karim Aga Khan to visit Balochistan soon. The CM said the provincial government was ensuring the implementation of a job quota for Baloch youths in federal departments. Raisani told the delegation that two new universities had been established to impart education in Turbat and Loralai, adding that approval had been granted for establishment of two medical colleges in Khuzdar and Loralai. Balochistan Education Minister Shafiq Ahmed Khan, Information Minister Younus Mullazai and the secretaries of Education and Finance were also present. app
